• Cold intolerance: Cold hands/feet, or just feeling cold all the time, regardless of weather or room temperature.
• Weight gain: Slow, creeping weight gain that won’t budge no matter what you eat or how hard you exercise.
• Muscle weakness: Especially in the arms. Sometimes shows up as tendonitis or carpal tunnel.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON TAKING THYROID TESTS: If you take thyroid hormones, you must not take any before the test.
