I'm Elle.

Writing has always been at the center of my career. 

I'm the screenwriter of the award-winning documentary Headhunt Revisited, a bestselling author of multiple books, and a writer of original television comedies. I'm also an alumna of The Second City Chicago, The Second City Los Angeles, and ACME Comedy Theater in Hollywood, where I wrote and performed in more than 100 sketch comedy and improvisational shows.

My work spans nonfiction, documentary, comedy, and character-driven storytelling. Whether writing books, television, or film, I'm drawn to stories that explore the complexity of being human with intelligence, humor, and heart.
